KEEP IT ORGANIC WITH A WOODEN KITCHEN
The wood is nature's building material, and at Kvik we are happy with wood. Therefore, we have also integrated the robust building material into several of our elements. You can get both worktops in many different types of wood and cabinet doors in ash or oak veneer. Do you dream of a lovely wooden kitchen at a sharp price? Read here how you can get more wood in your kitchen without it ruining your kitchen budget.
CHOOSE A SOLID WOOD WORKTOP
One of the elements that has the greatest impact on the kitchen's overall expression is the tabletop. It frames your kitchen. Here, a solid wood worktop can give your kitchen the same look and touch as a joinery kitchen.
A solid wood worktop has the advantage of having a warm and soft look - compared to granite or ceramic kitchen worktops. It also does not sound when you put pots, pans and dishes on a solid wood worktop. In addition, you have the option of sanding the worktop down during wear or if you want another surface treatment.
ORGANIC DOORS WITH LOTS OF TEXTURE
The doors are the kitchen's façade, and if you dream of a kitchen that has the same natural expression as a wooden kitchen, you can choose doors with wooden veneers. With wooden veneer doors you get the organic expression, where the tree's annual structure becomes a common element in the kitchen.
THE ECONOMICAL ALTERNATIVE TO A CABINET KITCHEN
With a Kvik kitchen in wood, you combine the many qualities of the cabinet kitchen with the light Scandinavian cuisine - at a sharp price. Our kitchens are not only an economical alternative to a cabinet kitchen - you also get a kitchen in a lighter and more modern look than the classic cabinet kitchens.
WOOD TYPES FOR ANY KITCHEN
All woods have their own strengths and benefits. We know that at Kvik, and therefore we also offer countertops in various woods, all of which come in different colors, shades and with different surface treatments. Common to all of them is that they are easy to care for and maintain.
At Kvik you can choose worktops in the following types of wood.
At Kvik we use sustainable wood, and in 2011 we became one of the first FSC-certified kitchen manufacturers in Denmark. FSC stands for the Forest Stewardship Council and is an international non-profit organization that ensures that timber harvesting and production take place under conditions that ensure better living conditions for the local population in forest areas around the world. With a wooden kitchen that is FSC certified, you are guaranteed to have been produced under responsible conditions that contribute to a greener world.
