WHAT IS QUARTZ?
Quartz is an extremely robust material, and has the same hardness as granite. And because a quartz worktop is not pure natural stone, you get more options to make your kitchen even more personal.
BENEFITS OF A QUARTZ WORKTOP
Because quartz worktop is composed of quartz and resin under very high pressure, the material has some particular advantages:
- Riding-resistant surface
- Easy to clean and maintain
- Resistant to stains
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR WORKTOP
Cleaning a quartz worktop is quite simple and you can find cleaning products especially for quartz worktop. For heavy stains you can use a scouring cream just for quartz. However, please note that you must not use detergents that have a pH above 12 - for example chlorine, oven cleaner and fat remover.
A quartz worktop is a robust material, but it cannot withstand high heat and fluctuating temperature changes between cold and hot. Therefore, you should find the table spoons when you take the lasagne out of the oven.
WHICH WORKTOP SHOULD I CHOOSE?
There are a wealth of different materials to choose from when it comes to worktops.
