THINK ABOUT CLEANING WHEN YOU SET UP YOUR BATHROOM

Do you need a new bathroom? So, you can advantageously consider how much you want to clean, even when you decide on materials and interior design. If cleaning is not your favorite job, you can choose a bathroom fixture that makes daily cleaning much easier and saves a lot of grease.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT MATERIALS

The cleaning of the bathroom can e.g. facilitated by choosing smooth materials and surfaces. Smooth surfaces are repellent to dirt and easy to dry. You can also go after having as few horizontal surfaces in the bathroom as possible, as the dust typically accumulates here. Clinkers and joints in and around the bath require more cleaning than a completely smooth surface, and a glass shower cabinet requires wiping after use to avoid scale deposits. In other words, it is about weighting design and functionality in everyday life, and it may be necessary to compromise if you want to keep the cleaning needs in the bathroom to an absolute minimum.

SIMPLE DECOR

Also, remember that the fewer decorations that are in the room, the fewer things there are to clean. It may sound banal, but a simple decor and a clean-up bathroom can save you a lot of cleaning in the long run. It is therefore a good advice to organize as many of your things as possible, including bath products, makeup articles, towels, etc. in cupboards and drawers. This can be done, for example, by means of inserts, boxes and boxes for the arrangement and organization of cabinets and drawers.

PROPER CLEANING EXTENDS THE LIFE OF YOUR BATHROOM

Whether your bathroom is brand new or older, it makes a big difference to both the look and the durability if you prioritize proper cleaning and care. It need not take long or be difficult. Get the right cleaning and care products and clean your bathroom when it is dirty - and at least once a week.

Use the right cleaning agents

Many people clean their bathroom community with dishwashing detergent or other harsh cleaning agents. We do not recommend it as it can remove the protective skin that is found on the outside of the material. Instead, use mild, acid-based cleaning products such as citric acid.

CLEANING THE WASHBASIN

It is especially the sink - and the area around it - that requires continuous cleaning to remain nice. This applies regardless of the type of sink you have. However, there can be a big difference in how easy the wash basins are to clean, depending on how they are designed and what material they are made of.

PORCELAIN

Many people choose a porcelain wash based on the idea that porcelain is durable and easy to clean. It is also quite correct that porcelain is a durable material. However, like other materials, it may lose its resistance to improper handling - and gradually become more difficult to clean.

KEEP YOUR BATHROOM CLEAN AND TIDY FOR MANY YEARS

Never use scouring powder or heavy scouring pads on the porcelain, as it may damage or create scratches on the outside of the porcelain. Instead, use a mild cleaning agent and a cotton wool or other soft material. Then your bathroom keeps itself clean and tidy for many years.

EASY CLEANING WITH KVIK

Kvik has launched a care and maintenance box, so it's easy for you to keep your wash clean. The box contains a care product for daily cleaning, a product for the depth cleaner, a lime remover product and a sealer for which you apply the wash after the depth or use of the lime remover. The sealer puts a protective and invisible layer on the sink, making it extra resistant to water, lime and dirt. In the box you will also find a detailed instruction manual. You can buy the care and maintenance box from your local Kvik store.

CLEANING YOUR BATHROOM SINK

With KUMA Clean cleaning agent, the daily cleaning of your sink and associated worktop is quickly over. KUMA Clean is specially developed for KUMA's materials and removes grease, dirt and soap residues effortlessly. By using the detergent regularly, you minimize the build-up of lime deposits, and your wash will stay neat for many years.

KUMA Clean is sprayed directly onto the washbasin, which is washed off with a damp cloth. Wipe with a hard-wrung cloth for optimal results.

DEPTH AND SEALING OF THE SINK

KUMA Superscrub is a scouring cream designed to remove difficult stains effectively. Use the product at regular intervals, avoiding permanent deposits of lime and dirt. Put a little Superscrub on a damp cloth and clean the surface. For difficult spots, allow the product to work for 5-10 minutes before drying.

Seal the sink and worktop with the KUMA Seal, which repels dirt and keeps the surface clean for a long time. KUMA Seal is sprayed onto the clean surface and distributed in a thin layer with a dry cotton cloth. Wipe the surface with a hard-wrung cloth after one minute. After two hours, the surface is sealed and ready for use.

REMOVE DIFFICULT SPOTS

Use KUMA Lime to remove particularly stubborn lime deposits and stains. KUMA Lime is sprayed directly onto the sink and table top. Let the product work for five minutes and wash off with a damp cloth. Please note that KUMA Lime must not be used on the materials Pearl and Terrazzo.

Finish off with KUMA Seal, which is sprayed onto the dry, clean surface and distributed in a thin layer with a dry cotton cloth. Wait a minute and wipe the surface with a hard-wrung cloth. The surface is sealed and ready for use after two hours.
