WOODEN WORKTOPS FOR BOTH THE KITCHEN AND THE BATHROOM

Wooden worktops are perfect for both the kitchen and the bathroom, because they are hardy. And with the natural look, they can easily be mixed and matched with our many different bath furniture and kitchen elements .

AN ORGANIC AND LIVING PRODUCT

A solid wood worktop is a living and organic product - you will therefore find that the wood can expand and move slightly. It is part of the charm of a natural and organic table. With time, for example, you will also see that your wooden worktop becomes darker and more solid.
Unlike other organic worktops, you can easily maintain a wood worktop yourself. If there are scratches on the surface, it can be fixed with a quick turn with the belt grinder before you again have a worktop that is completely scratch-free.

CLEANING YOUR WOODEN WORKTOP

Granted - wood worktops may require more attention than other worktops. Most often, however, you can settle for a light oiling a few times a year. Use a linseed oil that draws deep into the tree's structure and protects the worktop against dirt and dirt.
Giving your wood worktop oil ensures it stays robust and resistant to stains and dirt from everyday cooking. Therefore, it is a great idea that you regularly treat your worktop with a good oil. You should give your wooden worktop oil 1-2 times a year - so you also get a worktop that stays neat for many years.
The oil can also give your worktop a darker or lighter glow, just as you can emphasize the worktop's annual structure and thus highlight the unique feature of your particular kitchen.

ONLY SUSTAINABLE WOOD AT KVIK

Our wooden worktops are not only robust, they are also sustainable. All of our massive wooden worktops are the FSC label, which means that they are produced under responsible conditions and in order to create a better environment for both nature and the local community in which they have been produced.
